Patent leather! and a 'veldskoen'

Check SpellingI love patent leather shoes. I love em shiny shiny. I'm very proud of these shoes. The style of these shoes is the traditional South African 'veldskoen' http://enwiktionary.org/wiki/veldskoen but by doing them in patent leather with purple contrast stitching it gives the 'veldskoen' a completely new classy look. Follow my blog as I create other new classy combinations. I'm thinking dark royal purple suede and I'm still looking for the perfect winter brown that is rich in colour and has a warm glow.

Bobby

Bobby is an easy wearing shoe that is just what it is, a shoe with no frills just beautiful leather, matching laces and a flat rubber sole. Like all my shoes Bobby is leather lined so you can wear them without socks. What I like about Bobby is its simplicity and because of is simplicity its great to do in colours. Navy blue suede...chocolate brown...a warm tan or burnt orange.

Slip-it-on

This shoe is based on the slipper, its soft and comfortable and you won't want to take it off.

It is fully leather lined so you should wear it with out socks. I like that the shoe is two-toned. Ive done the front part of the shoe in a black leather and the back part in a dark brown suede. I can see the shoe in a dark royal purple suede with a navy suede back or a navy blue suede with tan binding? Or tan leather front with sharp royal blue suede back. The combinations are endless....

I really enjoy working in suede, its very soft and easy on the foot. Suede leather is also often very rich in colour. I'm looking forward to creating more winter combinations.
